guys we only finished at home to Bolton 2 years ago...christ, Chelsea have had just as easy home openers when they've won the league.

didn't we veto a home game at the start of this season anyway so we could make sure City Square was completely ready to go for the new season.
the story goes we should have had Newcastle at home......I wonder if the tramline will be finished in time this year?

Regardless of rules, it's out of order that we consistently start and end the season away from home, with United starting and ending at Old Trafford.
couldn't give a fuck tbh

You would if it came down to the last game being a title decider, and we were away from home.

In London, the Metropolitan Police area covers 12 Clubs spread across the Premier League and all divisions of the Football League and so the ‘pairing’ situation becomes even more elaborate. There are a total of 92 different policing restrictions, clearly too numerous to mention here. However, some examples would be that matches involving Chelsea and Fulham are affected by the Boat Race, the Great North Run affects matches in the North East, and matches cannot take place in Liverpool on the day of the Grand National. Consideration is also given to rival supporters and the routes they may travel, so that where possible rival supporters do not travel the same route.

Except when the London Marathon is on and it's suits us.

The champions always play their first game at home I think, so we'll be away again next season.
I think you are just making excuses there's no such rule but Fergie likes to control his fixtures as well as referees and everything else in football.
Champions always at home 1st game check it out
they weren't champions last season
