The FA

The government no but a complete overhaul of the FA is needed, get people in there that give a fuck about the grassroots of English football and care about the game in general instead of a bunch of suits that probably prefer Rugby.
 
Does any of my huge tax bill find its way to the FA? If it does then I want somebody to look after it. Unfortunately I can't trust anybody in the government to do that
 
Putting Greg Dykehead in charge was a retrograde step, but indicative of their appointment process. I agree with GDM that the FA isn't fit for purpose, but at that level corruption, backhanders and old boy favours are the way things are done. Name one governing organisation on that scale that isn't and that includes Governments. I'm afraid it's a sad indictment, but it's difficult to see how incompetence and corruption can ever be erradicated.
 
And to think that Pep expressed an interest in taking the job, but the clueless clowns at the FA thought Woy was a better choice

Football is run like the masons. Jobs are handed out because of a deal done on a golf course, or because favours are owed. It always has been and always will be. New managers, like Southgate, are inducted slowly, fed into the system, before emerging with roles and money.

They are as corrupt as FIFA and UEFA.

And people seem shocked by this.
 
FA should resign as one. The squad team should be picked by a combination of the public vote and X Factor judges (excluding Louis Walsh of course). Training should be chasing Nicole Scherzinger around the pitch.
 
Serves them right for giving the job to a bloke who everyone knew was a greedy wide boy in the first place. The scandal years ago with his son should have been enough to rule him out. Shows how ignorant they are
 
We can only hope that any monies were funnelled through the USA thus giving the FBI a run at the time serving, monocle wearing Blimps in charge at the FA.

Anybody remember the FA slagging off Andrew Jennings the journo who unveiled corruption within FIFA?
Did they really think Blatter's Boys were clean or did they have something to hide?

Not everyone would know that though, so its worth saying. FIFA will not allow any government interference in football matters, and ban any country that does it.

Our FA is long overdue some reform, but turkeys never vote for christmas.

Tbf I didn't know that it would include domestic teams and European participation. I was referring to the national team not getting knocked out every tournament before the maids had had chance to service their hotel rooms. :-)
