For those with a few kids in the house, it really is a no-brainer.

Very mixed results on DH GATE. Got adult one which was great and lasted very well. Some minor errors in the stitching but wouldn't bother me. The kids ones were a disaster though, all peeled after one wash. Contacted seller to be told they should not be machine washed! It's a good option, but not without risk.

Shouldn't machine wash Any kit numbers out. Inside out and air dry. Oh yeah, wash with cold water too it's gonna prevent the peeling.

Any to be honest probably better washed in a sink.

My mate who buys fake shit said look for the ones that say Thai in the listing name. Apparently something to do with the garment industry those are the good fakes.

And the player versions are better quality but not if you're fat.

I probably just got unlucky. Have some older genuine kits for 25 years and they never peeled. Also another one from DH gets lumped in the washing machine every week after football and has never peeled. The kids ones only lasted one wash. Thanks for the tip re Thailand.

Bought kits from souvenir shop in the past and sponsor peeled after time

Bought kids fake and numbers and name do peel but only after a long period of time

Some sellers seem better quality than others but I can buy 6 fake kits to the price of 1 original kit and still expect numbers to peel on both

Shirt quality always been the same so answer is don’t get name and number on the back or buy shirts and get printed elsewhere

Silly question time.

What's the difference between patch and no patch on the items?

I remember in the 90s clubs getting lambasted for having the audacity to bring out at least one new kit each season. Now no one gives a shit that they’re bringing out 3 each season. I’m not having a go at City on this as it’s the same across the whole of football.

It’ll be interesting to see how many official kits are sold across football this season, given the current pandemic.

Get all my lad¨s kits from here and 777 jerseys. Absolutely worth every penny. Cheap as chips, top quality and delivered within 2-3 weeks every single time. The club get North of a grand out of me for mine and his season ticket so I have zero problem not putting pennies in the City coffers for the outrageously priced kits in the City store. DH Gate, 777 all the time, every time.
