They have the shit blaring out there too, surely that loud has to be against elf and safety?
Not convinced. If the club switched everything off, I don’t beleive fans would be in their seats building an atmosphere. And thats okay if just is what it is.

Give it a chance and see, but they just wont will they? They could tone the shit down it's unhealthily loud.
With Bruges, Newcastle, and Liverpool coming up in the next 3 home games, the club have an opportunity to make that happen. Obviously we'll have to listen to the CL and PL jingles first. I wonder what the club have got planned for Wednesday night?

As the crowd will be about 80% tourists, it’s doubtful they’ll know too many of our songs.

There’ll likely be a light show on Wednesday, along with some tunes being played through the speakers.

It’s not going to change.

I expect the atmosphere against Brugges to be very good.

Yeah, it’ll be above the norm given the consequences of the result.

Most people don’t sing unless there’s jeopardy or bad blood, tourist or not. Culture has changed. It’s not 1985 anymore.
I somewhat disagree there. Since 85 all seater stadia, corporate areas, fans not with their mates as they are sat/stood elsewhere. Tourists not knowing our songs and general apathy amongst too many sat in silence have all contributed in diluting a proper raucous atmosphere that we used to(mostly) have.

Fair enough, it’s not my experience in the CB stand, but there will be certain sections that are more vocal like 110 and 115.

They’re the minority though these days, in my opinion.

When you're saying that sitting in CB1 I can understand, especially having spent 2 seasons on a value gold in CB3. I hated it so much that the next season I managed to get a SC next to my mate in 110. I've been in most sections of the stadium and 110/111 is (imo) the best for atmosphere. I enjoy singing and the banter with away fans stood opposite. And I wouldn't swap if I was offered a tunnel club seat with posh grub thrown in.

Totally agree on the last bit. If I had Musk’s money, I wouldn’t do the Tunnel Club. (Well, I might once to see how the other half live, but it’s not what going to football is to me).

Glad you’ve found your spiritual home in the stadium. Makes it as good as it can be.

They were exceptional if they sang that live. It’s so hard to sing in stadia. The Doppler effect and echo reverb are so hard to blank out.

Agreed, they did really well I thought - can’t imagine many would disagree either whatever anyone’s opinion on them actually doing it is.
