The film part that disturbed you for life...

The Boy in the striped Pyjamas was so harrowing!

It also made me feel sorry for a Nazi, who mistakenly killed his own son, for his son being to young to be allowed to be know what his dad was!

Not bothered by horror films, or such like. But I did find this particular character quite disturbing.

The bus breaking down in Summer Holiday

And on a more serious note

The rape scene where Una Stubbs gets gangbanged by the Shadows

Francis Albert getting that bullet in his back in Von Ryan’s Express

Agreed. Saw it for the first time a couple of years ago. Very deep.

Thing with horror films for me is, it’s about the sound not the vision. Can remember watching a number of “scary” films when young, and if I ever turned the sound down and put subtitles on, they were a walk in the park.
There is a lot in that - went to watch Jurassic Park at The Roxy when I was about 7 and that scene with that little dinosaur that spits that colourful shit at Dennis Nedry (Newman from Seinfeld) scared the life out of me but I think it was more to do with the sound of it.

When I got to re-watch it I'm guessing about a year or so later when it came on Sky or rented from Blockbuster/ Ritz and my cousin kindly taped it for me, completely fell in love with the film...........

Agree on this and came here to put it.

Watched it at the cinema on a date of all things.... and literally walked out shocked. Never before have I been shocked at TV or film.

Not a horror film but the scene from "Where Eagles Dare" when Richard Burton and Clint Eastwood are attempting to get into the castle. Makes me feel ill every time I watch it. Especially when Clint's ice pick starts slipping!

That bit in Big Black Cocks where Omar Williams first gets his knob out and it’s bigger than a Range Rover.

Made the mistake of watching it with my then Mrs. Inadequate doesn’t begin to cover it.

Fucking lol,
You think that's bad my little jack Russell let it all hang out once, fuck me it was touching the floor, and she said it's bigger than yours, bitch she is.

Anyone ever see ‘Salo’ ?
Now that is a messed up movie

Donkeys years ago when Channel 4 used to like to broadcast edgy stuff it put it on as part of a season of controversial films. Was trailed as being arty but with a powerful political message. I watched it, or at least I started watching it. Couldn't hack it and had to turn it off. As you say very messed up.
