Besson went all "Arthur C Clarke" at the end. To be honest, the whole film is a bit bizarre, though the scene where the car is being driven through central Paris is pretty good. And damn me, Scarlett Johansson doesn't half scrub up well! Back on topic; even though the film is a comedy classic, the finale to Blazing Saddles is truly odd. Where the fuck did they come up with the idea of finishing the film with a scene set on the film set?

Tim Burton's Planet of the Apes for me. The ape's face on Lincoln Memorial made no sense at all and ruined the "point"

Maybe not a freaky ending but didn't like `Easy Rider' or `Vanishing Point' and as for TV series, `The Shield' fucking sucked!
