After his preseason I think Dzeko deserves to start. Expect Yaya and Fernandinho to completely dominate many opposing midfields this season and Newcastle would be a solid start for them. Their best players in Cabaye and Ben Arfa can't do anything without the ball and I think our possession will be very high as usual.

Hart, Richards, Kompany, Lescott, Clichy, Toure, Fernandinho, Navas, Silva, Jovetic, Dzeko.

Think we'll score a fair few (3+) but that they could well nick one. Would hope it'd be a consolation rather than a nervy opener from them.

International friendlies will have some bearing on who we pick depending on injuries and travelling. Spanish Dave and Jesus are off to Ecuador and Yaya off to Mexico the rest are in Europe. Mitigated however by the fact we play Monday so have a little extra time to get the lads rested and up for the challenge.
