I did it at a level crossing a couple of years ago, when a steam train visited the area. Couldn't resist it, brought back memories of Levenshulme sidings.
Mrs Lavinda thought I'd gone mad.

The woman third from the right looks like all the old biddies that used to bollock me for playing football in the street. They would threaten to call the police, I can't see it happening these days.

True. But mainly because you never see any kids playing football in the streets these days.

No they never did derail, even with the rocks lined up - which is a good job really as there would have been Local News Reporters all over the fields at the back of my house in Cheadle Hulme alongside the West Coast Main line back in the day!
