See also Bronco. Great tracing paper.
I know what you mean. How are siblings supposed to truly hate each other from an early age if there are no fist fights revolving around who gets the baking soda submarine out of the Rice Krispies? The world's gone to shit!View attachment 182226
I remember pleading with my Dad to buy enough petrol from Esso to qualify for a free coin.
On a different note, and I hope I’m not imagining it, but didn’t Bowyers or Walls out a mini set of transfers including a background scene in their Sausages?
Where have all the freebies gone?
I thought it because the companies decided it was too expensive and too time-consuming for them to carry on giving things away.I know what you mean. (I think the "authorities" got rid of them as they were seen as incentives for using more "bad" products than was necessary and the freebies were often targeted at kids - fucking nanny state bullshit if you ask me)
I’ve still got that Coin collection in the loft somewhere.View attachment 182226

My dad was a rep, so he used loads of petrol, and quickly collected this set for a young footy mad me.View attachment 182226

I still have it, had it framed, it's a nice memory of him.
Thanks dad.
One of my most treasured possessions. That’s a great memory !
Tight arse dinner lady or whatever they were called would only give you one sheet. No IBS in them days.
I would've loved that QE ii model, you lucky bastard :)I thought it because the companies decided it was too expensive and too time-consuming for them to carry on giving things away.
I remember having a scale model of the QE II, complete with a battery-powered engine that I'm sure my parents sent away for with coupons on Kellogg's cereal boxes, maybe just Corn Flakes.
Somehow I’ve got 2? Also one they did much later.I’ve still got that Coin collection in the loft somewhere.
Anyone remember these,My dad was a rep, so he used loads of petrol, and quickly collected this set for a young footy mad me.

Yes, those toilets, I think they were called, we’re not a patch on the modern litter tray.
Let's play a game. Name the players, from left to right, back row first.Anyone remember these,
Busts of 16 top players available from Cleveland Petrol stations, my brother and I took it turns each to get them, couldn’t believe my luck when I got the Colin Bell one instead of Billy fucking Bremmner for the 3rd time running!View attachment 182285
