But it's not really a 'pint' is it. Yes by measure it is but not by 'proper man' standards. Something called dark fruits is not a real pint and as for the fizzy yank stuff you drink, Nuffield sed
Not had dark fruits since being told I'm type 2.

Hi All.
On 23 Feb, I fell down the stairs. Bones cracked or broken:
I clavicle, 7 ribs, 1 vertebra, 1 pelvis. Total 10!
Spent some time in Bradford Royal which was horrible. Now in Westbourne Green Community Hospital which is much better, aimed at FOCs and those requiring rehab.
Expected to last at least a year, then I’ll join my heroes, Peter Green, Colin Bell et al. I really didn’t expect to end my days like this. Nurses are brilliant.
Mrs KS and family have been great.. Can just about keep up with City on this NHS WI FI system but it is not great.
Bottles of single malt very welcome.
Hey, Pep, I’m available, you old bald fraud.

Bloody hell mate... It's on page 2 of the official FOC advice pack. Always check that the missus hasn't left a roller skate on the landing before approaching the staircase.

Positive thoughts and best wishes KS. Always remember; you've got more chance of being called up by Pep than Kalvin Phillips has.

Back in the 60's, I used to enjoy their range of products. Beef Curry, Beef Risotto, Spaghetti Bolognese and Chow Mein were cooked up by my mother from time to time as a special treat and we thought they were very exotic authentic tastes from around the world.

A few years ago I saw Beef Risotto on the shelf in Poundland. It came as a surprise because I had no idea Vesta meals were still being produced. I bought a packet thinking it would be as nice as I remembered.

It wasn't. It was bloody awful, probably more akin to eating stewed cardboard.

I think their other offerings would be a similar disappointment today as well, but that doesn't take away the pleasure we had eating them in those less than enlightened times.
