I'm sure he wouldn't have, RIP Colin.
I don’t think Colin was Mcnab’s greatest fan.I'm sure he wouldn't have, RIP Colin.

then he knew him and ergo wasn't forgotten :)I don’t think Colin was Mcnab’s greatest fan.
He didn’t have a first time around. He didn't have a second time around in 2001. He trained with the club for a few weeks to keep fit when he didn't have a club and nothing more.
That’s true!then he knew him and ergo wasn't forgotten :)
Harsh but true, living in his old man's shadow must have been hard for him tbhHe didn’t have a first time around.
Being a red **** didn’t help!Harsh but true, living in his old man's shadow must have been hard for him tbh
Didn't know that either tbhBeing a red **** didn’t help!
Siddall was one of our loan keepers of the 80s and played a handful of games when Nixon fell out of favour. Bobby Mimms and Mike Stowell also had loan spells in the late 80s. I would view Coops as a successful signing, came in as experienced backup to Dibble, if Margetson had been drafted in we may not have gone up in 88/9 ...How about Barry sidall
A very interesting suggestion. I saw him a few times, and I agree that he was a real talent.David Shawcross. He played as a wing-half and was tipped by many as a potential world class player. He was a silky smooth player.
He was dogged by persistent injuries which probably destroyed his career. He made only 55 appearances in seven years with City before moving on to Stockport and Halifax. He played on for eight years after leaving City but the injuries had taken their toll.
I saw him play a few matches in the first team and quite a few more in the reserves before he moved on in 1965.
A real lost talent.

My and my brother watched this clip over and over again laughing and then went and renacted "Siddalls" in the garden...few months later he was playing for us!!
I had no idea nicky summerbee played for us twice ???Michael Branch, Darren Wassall, Trevor Christie, Barry Siddall, Tony Grant, Lee Peacock, Jason Van Bleurk, Matthew Mills, Bill Williams, Tyrone Mears, Simon Tracey, Tony Scully, Glenn Whelan, Robert Hopkins, Mark Seagraves, Nicky Summerbee (2nd time round 2001)
Cross had a decent scoring record during his one season with us but didnt seem to play at the end of the season. Unsure if he was injured but he may have got a goal or 2 to keep us up. Had big shoes to fill being the cut price replacement for Francis when he was already at the veteran stage of his career.David Cross
his only game second time round was a friendly at Oldham in 2001 which was played 6 or 7 games into the seasonI had no idea nicky summerbee played for us twice ???
just checked, didnt play a game second time round but the fact he rejoined has gone out of my memory banks
he scored in the UEFA Cup win over Porto in 2011/12 4-0 the game we sang to Hulk "you're not incredible"David Pizarro.
Remember him joining, never remember him playing and couldn't even tell you what he looked like, and I've not missed a home game since 2003!
