Mancini knows his qualities and what he brings to the team, he is a vital ingredient to the way we play. As others have said, reads the game exceptionally well and always covers for defenders going forward, something that isn't a natural asset of Yaya, and Rodwell is still to learn. The best thing Mancini can do for Rodwell is to get Barry to mentor him and show him how to play that position

He's so underated on here it's unbelievable.

We've signed Garcia and Rodwell but Barry would still be one of the first names on the team sheet if I was Mancini. It's obvious how much more solid we look when he is playing and I put a put the reason why we've been abit shaky at the back down to Barry been injured.

As Sparky once said, you can hang your hat on Barry, he comes in and gets the job done on a daily basis and that is invaluable to any team.

Along with Hart, Vinny, Yaya and Sergio he should definetley be one of the first names on the sheet.

He's solid.
