Can the Tories win an overall majority?

No. Amid all the uncertainties surrounding this election, there is one safe bet – that the Conservatives will not gain a majority, i.e. win 326 seats. They didn’t manage it last time and that was before the rise of Ukip. Recent opinion polls suggest they will be lucky to win 260 seats......

At the moment, Cameron’s chances don’t look good. Lord Ashcroft’s latest polling in marginal seats suggests Labour are on course to be the biggest party.

I'll be voting conservative. I don't like the cuts but there is simply no other option. yes there is, a better fairer form of taxation where the NHS and other public services are properly funded and tax loopholes are closed and companies that are unwilling to contribute back into society are barred from bidding for Government contracts (think G4S, Capitas, Serco, ATOS etc)

For those thinking of UKIP, all your vote will do is ensure a racist lunatic ends up in bed with a socialist lunatic in Labour.
when was the last time we had a Socialist Labour Party?
Vote Green

Green leader Natalie Bennett thinks that being on benefits in Britain is worse than the poverty in India because, quote, "at least everyone there is poor too".

I'm coming to the conclusion that at the very least the Tories will hold what they have and possibly get a (very small) outright majority, which I think would be a bad thing overall.
I'm in the same camp. Blair seems to think on similar lines, saying Wallace has taken the party too far to the left, which always results in a Conservative majority, wouldn't stake my life on it though.

The Tories have not won an outright mjority since 92 and they will not win one next year.

They need to be polling in the 40% bracket and they're nowhere near, their tanking in the low 30's. Even if they recover 5% points more in the run up to the election they'll stagger to the point they were in 2010 and they did not have a majority then.

In the marginals that decide elections, they are doing even worse.

They're screwed.

Labour will get the most seats but not a majority. The SNP will do a deal to ensure a labour government but it won't last 5 years

That's possible, but Labour won't move Trident so it's difficult to imagine what'll they ask for beyond another referendum.

The SNP are high in the polls at Labours expense at the moment but come a general election it is hard not to imagine at least a partial Labour recovery north of the border.

Much is made of Labours woes and in truth they're in trouble, but the Tory vote has collapsed in the marginals and if UKIP continue to syphon Tory votes (in truth that is where they do the most damage) Cameron will be writing his memoirs this time next year.

Which liars would that be?
The ones that promised to wipe out the deficit but have in fact borrowed more than EVERY Labour (and new labour) government in history?
the party that would "Get Britain working by giving unemployed people support to get to work, creating 400,000 new apprenticeships and training places over two years, and cutting benefits for those who refuse to work" but in fact cut benefits for those that couldnt work and then stopped keeping figures of the amount of people that DIED while waiting for an appeal, the government that cut IN WORK benefits for those that were paid so little that they required government hand outs to live on?
The Government that has underseen the largest real terms fall in wages since records began?
The government that wasted MILLIONS of taxpayers money on "Free Schools" of which 80% couldnt fill their allocated places?
The Government that have underseen the privatisation by stealth of OUR NHS to companies that MANY of them have financial interests in (either through directorships or shareholdings)

Despite the biggest drop in real wages on record for the average worker since 2010, and almost a million people now using food banks, senior staff in London's financial services sector are expecting an average 21% rise in their bonus payouts for this year, a survey has found.

All in this together?
Who is the liar?

(this "contract" that they have now removed from their website)

How can it not last 5 years under the new rules?

Would you bet your plums on that? I wouldn't, it is quite conceivable that the conservative leaning UKIP voter will smell the coffee, and not piss on their chips by voting for Nige. Whether the UKIP voting Labour switchee decides the same, remains to be seen.
I'm not saying you're wrong, but you're not that right either.

Labour win a small majority.cameron fucks off to ukip and the tory sham is fully exposed. Id rather have an inept miliband than a liar like cameron,he is plunging the country into darkness, labour will have to bail us out as usual.
