Poll from Survation is in:

Who won the debate tonight?

You think that is good for milliband? !!!

It's hard to see it any other way.

I think thats about what i expected.

Sturgeon star of the show, Ed did OK, but if i was Cameron on those figures i would be worrying how well Farage polled. Twitchy bum in the home counties for some.

I think the SNP will dominate in Scotland but I don't want them taking any more English money, which requires a Tory vote.

Its UK money paid into the UK exchequer.

But the Barnett formula unfairly favours Scotland and is now obsolete. Sturgeon moans about poverty, which is high in Scotland, but they spend all the tax money they have on free uni and prescriptions. All very nice but if they want more public spending in Scotland, it should come from Scottish wallets.

Labour will not go in to a coalition with the SNP, you can be assured of that.

Then I doubt Labour will be able to run a functioning government.

The lefties are putting a poll up showing ed got 31 percent up against 4 minority parties and stating that this is a good result. I would suggest completely the opposite. Had it been 80 percent maybe. But less than one in 3 people thought he did better than those non entities??

Lord Ashcroft
‏@LordAshcroft Survation BBC debate poll: Miliband 35%
Sturgeon 31% Farage 27% Bennett 5%
Wood 2%

Lord Ashcroft! Notorious rabid left-winger!

Polling 35 percent against 4 minor parties is impressive? Yes or no?

Interesting numbers from the land of Twitter.
It's going to be an interesting election this year make no mistake about it.

Boos don't matter. You vote for the party that you want, not the party that you don't want. Farage is polarising but he seems to have a lot on his side. On those numbers the number of positive tweets per party were:

Labour - 8,437
UKIP - 8,210
SNP - 4,666
Plaid - 1,353
Green - 1,056

Tory - 2,745
Lib Dem - 501

That's pretty good going for Farage.

.

Im sure Scotland would love some tax raising powers. They are for progressive taxation. I would argue that if they were given this power then the Union would have more chance of staying together albeit in a looser federated fashion.

Not to mention that the Scottish economy is actually only a small bit off the English economy and it's actually the Welsh and Norts that we're propping up financially.

Ha Ha you really are a piece of work mate.
The Tory press for the last two weeks have been predicting disaster for Ed in tonight's debate.
BUT he came out top in the Survation Poll so you have to suddenly spin it as a Labour failure.

Farage was left to hoover the reactionary waiverers.

.@Survation poll for @dailymirror tonight:
"Who would be best PM: David Cameron or Ed Miliband?"
