The fact that Britain First are urging their followers to support UKIP shows what type of person UKIP attracts. Not the majority of UKIP supporters of course, but their policies will attract the extremists unfortunately.

If you've ever been a member of Britain First or the BNP you will be expelled from UKIP whereas on the other hand former members of the BNP can safely remain members of the Labour Party and rest assured that everyone will keep their stupid Labour gobs firmly shut on the subject, similar to how they treat their paedo problems. Better still you might even get promoted to Executive Member for Leisure and Culture like Trevor Maxfield in Blackburn.

You're missing the obvious thing here - that UKIP even needed to institute that rule in the first place unlike the major parties.

Out of all the parties ukip were always going to attract the far right nutters, expelling them is the only thing they can do, both labour and the Tories have held complete barn pots in their ranks over the years

Trevor Maxfield is one of a couple of dozen ex BNP members who went on to become Labour councillors. So no need for a rule there then.

They're damned if they do and damned if they don't. I'm no supporter of UKIP, but the fact that racists are voting for them means nothing. UKIP are proposing a points based immigration system and controlling EU immigration by leaving, therefore taking full control of our borders. Labour have let in all and sundry, and the Conservatives said they would reduce net migration but didn't. Given the choice, who are you most likely to vote if you don't like foreigners?

And put the x in the ukip box
Am I still a conservative
Why yes as I approve of them not pissing away my contributions to the system
I approve of there steadfast resolve to tackle our deficit

But I also like and admire Farange the only honest politician to grace ou4r ballot boxes this coming May

I've made up my mind.

For the first time ever, I'm not even going to vote.

Just heard Cameron on the Today programme, don't think he answered one single question posed by Humphrey.

Milliband seems like a decent bloke, but do I see him as a Leader and a Statesman? Nope

Clegg a wasted vote.

Real shame, I was always someone who was in the camp that people had died for us to retain democratic rights in this country, but I just don't trust any of them. Don't really know a great deal about the differentiators in policies, as all I've heard for the last 6 weeks is them slating the others (especially the Tories trying to put the fear of God in us all about a potential Labour/SNP coaltition)

Anyway, I'm done.

While I can see that you are totally fed up and disheartened, I can also see you are wrong in not using your vote.

Your ancestors, from your parents back, have fought in one way or the other for you to have that vote, the least you can do is use it.
I agree the main parties are a bunch of tossers, so how about you take a few mins and look at the other candidates an pick one who at least seems to support some of the things you want, a vote against the main parties still sends a message.

The "cannibis is safer than alcohol party" is standing in parts of Northern Ireland though i am unsure what their stance is on the ongoing privatisation of the NHS or the welfare reform bill

How important will the weather tomorrow between 5 & 7pm be for the result of the election?
I feel that most tories will vote regardless of conditions as they will want 5 more years of doubling their money whereas those on the left might decide to hurry on home from the factory floor as they feel that they have little left to lose and can't afford to lose pay if they are off sick with the flu

You should look past the individual and vote for the party who's policies you most closely agree with. To not vote is to abdicate from your civic duty. There will be a lot of guff about the popular vote after the election but it will be bollocks if people either don't vote or vote tactically.

I agree to a point but will be spoiling my vote tomorrow. As a Unionist and Trade Unionist I cannot stand the thought that my vote could help Cameron onto Downing Street again.
that rules out the two Unionist candidates. This leaves the SDLP SF The Workers Party Alliance and CISTA.
I don't want alcohol banned so that rules out CISTA,, the Workers Party formed out of the Official IRA, SF from the Provos, the SDLP are an Irish Nationalist party and Alliance are a conservative right wing party.
So far from failing in my civic duty I believe I am holding them to account for the "mistakes" they have made

The thing about 'democracy' is that you have the right to choose, not just to choose who to vote for, but whether to vote at all. For me, none of the alternatives offer me enough to make me commit my vote to them so how far do you go in terms of compromise? I consider myself pretty much 'Mr Average', mid 50's, had an average job, earned an average wage and live in an average house and yet I feel as though I'm not represented by any of the political parties. That has got to be a sad state of affairs surely?
