Let's look at it this this way, five years ago, would our name ever have got a mention in the press three days before a United/Liverpool game? Definitely not. In fact by far the most media attention we ever got was when we were playing United ourselves. That's definitely not the case now.
There was a time when we knew we weren't their biggest rivals because we were being ignored. The fact that our name gets dragged into a game that has nothing to do with us clearly means we are their biggest rivals and they know it.
The way their players, fans and manager have been acting in recent months, you'd think they were 7 points behind not 7 in front. They are VERY worried. They haven't got time to be worrying about a team that have been stuck in mid table the last few years.
