As I understand it clubs are able to sign free agents at any time. A decent goalkeeper needs to make himself a free agent early (ie 3 weeks before he ordinarily would) to earn himself 3 of the biggest games of his life.

Arason just let 6 behind him, his team Odd Grenland lost 6-1 today. He has been a GIANT in Norwegian football, one of the best keepers that have ever played there, but he is going downhill unfortunately :( He's not that old yet either.
