i knew someone who worked at maine road so no probs for me

I remember thinking i'd got there early and as i approached the kippax entrance, I saw everyone dissapearing inside and thought not long now, only to then have to spend all day shuffling inside the North Stand.

Well worth it.

I think some must have stayed overnight, the amount of rubbish around the ground.

I have one memory of a very long que, in which i was offered coffee outside maine road. But i also remember my dad scrambling to fax copies of our tickets for previous rounds, to city.

So im not quite sure which one was for the play-off.
