The green man

If you walk past the main entrance ( from Wembley Stadium station ) and walk down the next cul de sac right to the bottom, there's a little path you can jib in, if they're not letting anyone in at the front.

Don't tell everyone! I was hoping to be the first one there at 10.

Fucking joke of a place, got there at 12.30 for semi, wernt letting anymore in so fuck em,the Greyhound it is AGAIN
happened to my uncle that but he was let in 5 minutes later. a lot of people go in and out of the pubs around wembley to meet up with friends and family. even though there was no atmosphere last time, still enjoyed drinking there and will do so again. might have a go of the jerk this time
You'll get thrown out if you start any of that in the pub!

get into harrow chaps had a great time there previous

This!

Whereabouts, what pub?

It's Harrow on the Hill I think
It's 2 stops on the tube to Wembley Park.
You have a pedestrianised High St, with a Wetherspoons , a Yates and an O'Neils all
near each other. Plus other boozers.
At the Semi they had notices on the door City Fans only.
There are plenty of places to eat, Pubs are full of Blues and IMO a much better
option than anything near Wembley. but I appreciate people might want to nearer and
among the atmosphere.
I would suggest people try it out then about 2 hours before KO get your CHEAP cans here
and head for Wembley.

There are so many alternatives to the hovels around the ground .

Try Cricklewood, Kilburn, Harrow and Wealdstone just for starters.

All are only a few stops from the Wembley stations. I will be around Cricklewood before and after there are many choices and late opening pubs.

Are you for real! It's a bloody pub close to Wembley, soooooo on a semi final day it's bound to be packed from opening time to kick-off, as is any other pub around the area. Once any public building has reached it's capacity it has to stop any more punters going in.....It's the law!!!! Perhaps it should have a VIP list for the likes of you, so whatever time you arrive you'll get in.

Jeeesus! Some people really shouldn't be let out in the community!!!!!

Yea am for fucking real, (that's sad if you are) fuck the green man,and the hip place to be ?? (No one said it was the ‘hip place to be’, but it’s obviously popular as even YOU wanted to go there) Fucking grow up,I was just saying they wernt letting any more in at 12,45 so we went eleswhere,(I am grown up. If I didn’t get into a place, I WOULDN'T call it a joke of a place because it has a security policy, I would accept it like a grown up that I didn't get there on time and move on without a fuss or feel the need to go on a forum to slate it off) just this time around I won't attempt to go to the hip place,we will go to the Greyhound where the crack was and probably is better, fucking clown (As a 50 year old woman, who is mature and can deal with situations, I think it is you who is the clown, not me and I don’t need to use swear words to get my point across, which shows my maturity and your immaturity)

Who asked for VIP treatment,(No one did, I suggested it may help you in the future if you wish to attend a busy place and think you may be arriving after the place has reached it’s full capacity) you have proper got on my tits with that remark (get over it, I’m sure a lot worse has been directed your way with the attitude you have)

You have my sincerest apology, didnt know you were a 50 year old woman, and I apologise for my swearing in my response

I think you've got a point but depends on your point of view really. The Semi I loved the atmosphere before KO in JJ Moons but after about 2pm when it was 5-6 deep at the bar it becomes a bit of an arse, we ended up just getting some cans to drink on the street. I think Saturday Im going to stay in Central and then take some cans on the tube to drink near the ground. Balancing that big game build up with actually getting served quickly and not being crushed every time you go to the bar.

Wembley for me is no different to any other away game,

Therefore I will not be heading for the area around the stadium five hours before kick off.

I will wander around looking for better places to go in the area like always.

My 12th Wembley trip with MCFC.

I didn't realise we'd been there so often until you prompted me start counting back when your first one must have been assuming you haven't missed any. 1969?

I never went in '69 or the Charity shield last time but I think I'll be hitting double figures on Saturday.

Fuck all compared to some clubs I know but more than I'd realised.
