The Green Party

You think Zak's plan to give the global capitalist system two fingers and follow the spending model that led Cuba, Venezuela, Greece et al into their short-lived versions of economic hell will be taken seriously by anyone with a brain in this country?
His truly ridiculous YouTube derived economic script will quickly be rewritten after this latest humiliation but the truth is Zack is interested in nothing but self promotion (not alone in that maybe) Basically he's just another a gay stand up artist on a mission to please his 'tribe' -"100,000 new members since I became leader " he proclaims' - not surprising he wants his 'Me Party' to link up with other equally absurd 'Your Party', they are perfect partners for oblivion.
Another gay stand up artist?, what a fucking dinosaur you are

Gender politics is a particular loathing of mine, I have many gay friends and it may surprise you that most share my views on its intolerant crusades however unfashionable they may seem to some on here.
Gender politics are nonsense I agree but you brought up him being gay no-one else. There was no relevance to it.

He's leader of the Green Party ffs. He's never getting anywhere near any real power. The job of these sorts of parties is to help create a narrative that puts pressure on the big parties and threatens enough of their votes that they change their policies. Look how much Nigel Farage got what he wanted without ever being elected into parliament.

Whilst I have no strongly formed opinion on Polanski he is serving a useful purpose by trying to get the issue of increasing inequality more into the mainstream. The narrative of what is newsworthy has been completely captured and weaponised by the wealthy and unsurprisingly that does not include the constant march of wealth inequality which will ultimately be everyone's downfall if left unaddressed.

My issue is that the environmental agenda is far too important for its only dedicated political party in this country to be used as a platform for a self-serving & totally ill-equipped extreme left stage act.

That's one thing you aint :-)

Here you go

I asked an electric friend

Zack Polanski is considered part of the "hard left" due to his platform as the new leader of the Green Party, which is seen by many as a more radical and left-wing approach compared to the party's previous leadership. His campaign focused on issues like poverty and Palestine, in addition to the environment. While his opponents argued this might alienate more moderate voters, Polanski maintained that issues like low wages and lack of NHS appointments are radical concerns that would appeal to many people.
  • Political positioning: Polanski is described by some as "hard left" due to his campaign focus, which has been seen as more radical and populist.
  • Campaign focus: He ran on a platform that included poverty and Palestine, in addition to environmental issues. He also models himself as an "eco-populist".
  • Voter appeal: While some opponents worry his radicalism might alienate moderate voters, Polanski argues that issues such as the cost of living, NHS access, and a lack of opportunity are what he's addressing and will resonate with a broad audience.
  • Leadership style: Some have described his style as "sweary bluntness and brash left-wingery," which contrasts with the more moderate tone of some previous Green Party leaders.

Do you think Jezzer & Sultana are to his left or his right?

POLITICAL STATEMENT

The main goal of the party remains unchanged:

Our goal is the transfer of wealth and power, now concentrated in the hands of the few, to the overwhelming majority in a democratic, socialist society.
However this has been strengthened. Where the first version said:

Both at home and abroad, Your Party stands against the war economy, and the neoliberal capitalist order fuelling the climate crisis and grotesque levels of inequality – and in favour of public and community ownership of key economic sectors and services.

We reject a capitalist order that is responsible for grotesque levels of inequality both at home and abroad. We favour the extension of democracy over the economy, including the public ownership of key sectors and services.

The same economic order that exploits people is destroying the planet, fuelling the climate crisis that threatens us all. Your Party stands for environmental justice.

We oppose the global system of imperial domination and colonisation, and support movements for national liberation and self-determination. We stand against militarism and for a world free of nuclear weapons.

Your Party stands for freedom – from poverty, exploitation and war – and in defence of democratic rights and liberties.

Our task is to build a mass party for the many, rooted in the broadest possible social alliance, with the working class at its heart.

Why are you quoting left wing or as I prefer socialist policies at me?

You claimed he was a hard left wing extremist. I asked you why? You gave me 3 things that are not extreme because you don't know what extreme means or more likely used hyperbole and wont step back from it. So I will ask you again which policies does he have that are extremist in your view?

I'm starting to think you are suggesting my view of what constitutes the hard left in this country is inaccurate.
Trying to characterise the key economic policies advocated by Zak, Sultana & Jezza as 'socialist' rather than revolutionary & totalitarian is a familiar Marxist ploy - let's cut to the chase - which verses would you omit?

I asked you a perfectly valid question, now either stop stalling and answer it or bugger off if you cant.

If you don't like the ABC choices let's have the above from my first reply for a starter - 'forget borrowing from the bond markets - we have a sovereign currency we'll print our own money'

If you didn't feed the term 'hard left' to it in your prompt, I'll eat every hat in my house. It literally puts quotes around the term.

I just asked ChatGPT to describe his political philosophy, and at no point did it mention 'hard left' or 'far left.' It mentioned left wing and populist. Your post seems like it's answering something along the lines of "Why is Zack Polanski considered part of the hard left?"
