It's just a general comment on the state of our politics and system.Not sure if I understand your logic behind this comment?
Proportionally at all levels the vast majority of people who get elected into our institutions are not being elected by any actual majority of people.

That's true but they can only count the numbers that bother to vote. The big losers from PR would be the Tories and Labour and that's why I don't think we'll see it for a long time (if ever). Maybe of we did have PR then more people would turn out and vote?It's just a general comment on the state of our politics and system.
