I expected a really cagey game between two defensive sides but the early goals forced the HKT to attack. As soon as they got level they went back to default defence.

Pochettino should unleash his team more often
 
Great result for them last night. Tie not over sure but if we'd come back from 2-0 down against a side that concedes once every couple of months we'd be buzzing too.

Seriously, you think Spurs are a defensive team; that Pochettino is a defensive manager?

He's not defensive in the Conte or Maureen mould, but he's lot more pragmatic than a Klopp or Guardiola. Nothing wrong with his style, it's served you lot well.
Haven't seen the game but you must be delighted with the result?
 
Think there's a very real chance they finish second behind us. These are their remaining fixtures in the league:
 
Tottenham have done really well in their recent tough fixtures; Kane, Eriksen and in particular Dembélé have really shone.

Makes you feel smug as a City fan when you think how bad we made them look for 90 minutes. And also how bad we made Kane, Eriksen and in particular Dembélé look in that game too.

Tough ask if they are in the FA Cup and latter stages of CL too. That's where United and Chelsea usually have the advantage in squad and experience. Certainly capable though.
 
Stick Aguero in this team and have him be the focal point like Kane and I believe he'd outscore him
 
The completely useless English FA do NOTHING about this cheating twat when he does this week in week out

No doubt about it, they build the team around him as much as they say they do not. Only very recently with Erikson starting to play again have they shown any way to do the job without him.

Absolutely. And considering Aguero's been banging goals away like a machine for years despite not having a manager for club or country that's either known how to or been bothered to figure out a team that has him as the focal point, just imagine how good he could be for Tottenham as their main man! He'd love playing ahead of an in form Eriksen too!
