We were all so dehydrated we couldn't manage to piss in a sink.



It was hot as fuck that summer. I was 13 and we used to badger the fit female teachers to let us do lessons on the sports field. Nothing better than a moist 25year old Miss Mathieson in the sun.


Blimey better take a cold shower or I'll be in no fit state for the game later.

The heatwave of 76 seems to be the go to thing to talk about for miserable old fuckers. Us youngsters can go to Spain for £20 so you aren't impressing anybody

Squirty the wagon wheels certainly were a lot bigger in 76.

I went off to Butlins with my parents and as other posters have mentioned there were butterflies everywhere…….incredible.

And ladybirds all over!

Got married in June76, full suits with waistcoats and kipper ties etc, nearly fainted in church, think it was about95deg that Saturday
