Come on, if you'd have brought him when it looked like you were going too, you'd have been made up.

As I posted previously though, I don't like him( 3 weeks every major championship, and that's only because I cheer on fucking Lescott( fucking cock) and Gerrard)
But he is slightly English and our only real hope, although to be fair, I'd like to see Joe Hart notch a winner or sign for Everton.

The banter is decent but its this simple, some blues put our cross town rivalry to one side and some of us can't/don't/won't. I'm one of the latter and nothing in God's green country could ever make me change that opinion. I accept there's City player's in the team but for the life of me I just cannot ever support a team with rags that I abuse every other week. Just can't do it. Don't wish em any ill will in all honesty and its out of my hands whether they win or they don't and if they do then great for the City lads and if they don't then tough for the City lads but I feel no connection whatsoever to any England national team. Sick to fucking death of hearing about the return of the saviour, ''he's got a great reception from the England fans in the corner - he's hungry for it - great pass from Rooney - nobody wants to score more'' and of course always said with a growl in your voice ''Roooooney'' everytime he's within 20yards of the fucking ball. No doubt he'll bang an hat trick tonight but for the rercord his Engerland goalscoring record for a supposedly world class striker is fucking shite. Only 2 goals against what I would consider to be the top ranked nations v Holland and Argentina 6/7 years ago now. He's scored against 3 of the middle ranked national teams in Denmark, Croatia and Russia and the rest have come against the worst of the worst. Don't let the facts spoil a good story though.

With the minutes he's played as the main striker, against more often than not poor opposition (friendlies and qualifiers) He surely should have more than 29 goals? Peter Crouch has 22 in 44 and most of his games he only came on for the last 10/15 mins!

He needs to have a much better game. He was absolutely rubbish last night. My teenage daughter could have scored the goal he did. His overall game was very, very poor. All hype - 100%

Rooney is a pretty mercurial player, his level of performance is not as consistent as the best players in the game for Utd. or England. Having said that when he does play well his performance is at a far higher level than the likes of Crouch. He plays for the second best team in thecountry and is their main man and best player. If it was not for Rooney Utd would have been way behind us last season. Crouch is one of Stokes better players.
Yesterday his play was not great but he was still in position at the right times and his movement was good, no England manager in their right mind would leave Rooney out of the team at the moment he has just played nearly a full match and may well improve next match.
