Any Bluemooners into the hold steady. I'm completely obsessed with them at the moment.

If I could be in any band in the world I'd be in the Hold Steady.

I haven't seen that, but shall enjoy it later over a bottle of red or several.
Cheers for the heads up.

Seen them a few times live and they are brilliant. Loved the concept of the first 3 albums following the lives and struggles of 3 teenagers (Holly, Gideon and Charlemagne). Boys and Girls in America was a real breakthrough for them and is a classic. Shame the keyboard player (Franz Nikolay) went his own way as he was such a key member for them.

If you get a chance to see them live take it, you will not be disappointed.

Made a nice bit on some of their early records, not my taste, but buying them up was a smart move. Currently getting 100$-140$ for unopened copies!

Boys and Girls in America is up there with Springsteen's best records. I'm really sad i've never seen them live. It's been a case of life getting in the way at least four or five times. Next time round even if I have to get on a plane I'm just gonna do it.
