Loved the concept of the first 3 albums following the lives and struggles of 3 teenagers (Holly, Gideon and Charlemagne). Boys and Girls in America was a real breakthrough for them and is a classic. Shame the keyboard player (Franz Nikolay) went his own way as he was such a key member for them.
If you get a chance to see them live take it, you will not be disappointed.
Boys and Girls in America is up there with Springsteen's best records. I'm really sad i've never seen them live. It's been a case of life getting in the way at least four or five times. Next time round even if I have to get on a plane I'm just gonna do it.
If you haven't got Separation Sunday then get it mate its just as good as 'Boys and Girls'
Nah I've got them all mate. The first time I heard Boys & Girls I went out and got everything I could.
