The Honda Cub

Bringing shame to the family.
Brought a lot of fear to the neighborhood, me with my AC/DC patch on the back of my denim vest. There was a little gang of us, couple of fuzzies, a Suzuki GP50, a Honda SS 50 and much to the jealousy of the rest of us, a Puch Grand Prix

I'm surprised you grew up to be a contractor and not a hairdresser.

A little story from when we went to Vietnam for a holiday, there are thousands and thousands of little motorcycles over there and I asked a guy in the hotel why Vietnam doesn't make it's own version of a moped instead of everyone buying Hondas, he told me in all sincerity that if there was a homemade moped that nobody would buy it as a Honda is seen as a status symbol, a family will buy one and immediately start saving for a second Honda as a sort of Sunday best and keep running the old one on an everyday basis so there would be no point in any local business starting up manufacture of mopeds or little motorbikes.
As we all know these Hondas are incredibly reliable.
