i'm watching this on Sky Box Office tonight, both me and wife are fans of Black Hawk Down but we understood it was not that type of film!

It is different. BHD is more your typical battle on war film, the Hurt Locker is a bit more character based, its good, but I'm surprised it's got the accolades it has.

As films go i'd give BH down 10/10 while The Hurt Locker for me Just scraps a 7/10. Its not a bad film its just not that great either fuck knows why it won all those oscars.

good film but when you look at how our lads and lasses do it in the Royal Engineers and EOD Regiment its a little differnt!
