The "I hate Mourinho" thread

Great motivation skills
Boring boring football
Self opinionated arse (see baconface)
ME ME ME
Not right for City
Not for me he is not a club man he is an i love me and will never stay for the long term
In a nutshell hes a fukin big head

Yes he's a winner. But he's an arse. Wouldn't want him anywhere near our great club. Give me the second best manager in the world who has a bit of class about him, any day of the week.

Mourinho isn't the only manager in the world who wins trophies

Can't stand the bar steward.

Whenever I see him I just want to punch him in the face.

It would be a bad decision IMO if he ever came here. He is all about ME, ME, ME.

Anyone feel the same?
Sorry can not agree, I think that he played a blinder with the media his ME, ME, ME as you put it, perfectly deflected all the pressure from his team onto him. Inter won the game in the first leg at home, and put his team out last night make sure they did not loose the tie, excellent tactics. If he had took Barca on at their own game they would of got hammered.

He is as other's have said a winner, and where ever he ends up he will continue to win cups and medals.

Absolutely. Football is about tactics. Its seems really easy for people to just expect success with nice pretty football but tactics win games. Mourinho is a masterclass at tactics and I love to see the way he goes about setting out his team in different games. The first leg against Barca, Inter played to their strengths but yet played some nice stuff.

As for people hating his antics, I think its refreshing instead of listening to the same corny, cliched pish that comes from most in football.

Arrogant he may be but remember how everyone loved cantona for it (ok not us blues) but he was lauded and admired for his arrogance and a brilliant player. Mourinho is brilliant and arrogant manager and bends the rules to his favour. He will sacrifice everything for a result even the football.

If he was manager of City I probably wouldnt care.

Actually, what the fuck do I care. Ill save all my love for City and all my hate for the scum

Well put. I wasn't brought up to believe that supporting City meant wanting success at any cost.

Reading the comments on here about Mourinho is akin to bashing your head against a brick wall. Its all "THE MAN IS A LEGEND" "HE SHUT THOSE GOBBY BARCA PRICKS UP" "OOOHH WHAT A GREAT DEFENSIVE DISPLAY" " A BORN WINNER".
Does a born winner concede that you cant possibly beat the other team so stop them from beating you?

What about the performance in the first leg they played Barca off the park.

They had no need to try and play open attacking football against the best footballing team around at the Nou Camp.

It was a great performance, a great defensive performance.

but hey only my opinion

what am i reading.

imagine the scene,

we have just beaten barca at the camp nou, in a magnificent backs to the wall performance, down to ten men, in front of the biggest crowd in football, against the undisputed best team in the world,to make the champs final for the first time in 70 years.

the whistle blows and our manager races across the pitch to salute the 5000 travelling blues placed in the gods so as to be of little use to our team as possible. he stand defiant infront of the home crowd showing his admoration for us and crowing in the excellence of this history breaking result. we have sung our hearts out and just watched our team and manager place us in the final. can you imagine the euphoria.

on my victorious return i must remember to log onto this site and post a thread or two, to advise what a complete tosser the manager is and how i would do anything to not have him at our club.

ARE YOU ON GLUE.

People are aware that the ME, ME, ME attitude that both Ferguson and Mourinho have, is a perfectly normal way of deflecting the attentions of the press away from a bad performance of the team?

Look at when Ferguson made his typical Germans statement. Straight after losing to Bayern and having a young kid sent off. Instead of the kid being hung in the press, Ferguson was. What about his unfit referees comment? Straight after another loss in which Foster (IIRC) played really badly and cost them the game.

They aren't cunts, they are keeping the press attention away from the club by directing it on themselves. Cook seemed to do this also after the Hughes sacking, millions criticised the CEO yet nobody really criticised the Chairman or Owner who I would guess had final decision on Hughes.

It's a legitimate (and usually successful) tactic.

I like him, but i don't really want him here. The club would become about Mourinho and i don't think he'd stick around long. No doubt he'd bring trophies, but other managers can win trophies too, not just him.
