The idiocy (and selfishness) of panic buying

And you carry on ignoring and removing it from every shitshow it has caused. Unfortunately we all have to live with it, and don't all get to bury our heads in the sand and come up with all sorts of alternative takes to deny what a disaster it is, across all sectors.
or you could think, fuck it, it's here, I'll deal with it, let's get on with it without moaning, complaining, blaming and finding fault with everything, let's deal with it as we have in the past. Life goes on my friend.

Probably because we were promised endless sunshine, and that the land would flow with milk and honey. Also, it‘s great fun ripping the piss and watching people scurry around trying to excuse it.

I've been in Portugal for the last week and I'm just enjoying my last few hours here. Will I be OK for a taxi home from MCR airport when I get back later or are there taxis left abandoned all over the place due to running out of fuel.....
It's like a film set around here, abandoned cars, gangs roaming the streets, those that can have fled to the hills. Stay where you are, I'm just wait for the zombies to try and break into my bunker.

Wow. That really is a nightmare. A shortage of gifts!. No plum pudding! Almost wish I was living in somewhere like Afghanistan so I wouldn't have to endure such a hard Christmas here.

Not convinced the election slogan ‘At least its not as bad as living in Afghanistan’ is going to cut it.

Still, the Tories can give it a go I guess. May need a bit of work to fit it on the side of a bus.

Or the Labour slogan. We wanted to stay in the e.u. but the people who normally vote for us didn't so now we are not sure but we will stumble along '

Granted it would have to be a bloody big bus but hey

People are so easily influenced by MSM.

It is actually quite disturbing.

They believe everything the are told. Never ,ever, questioning the narrative, the hidden agenda behind the story.

MSM say there is a toilet roll shortage. People fill their trollies with 5 year supply of Toilet rolls.

Daily Fail runs with the HGV driver shortage story. Tells all its readers it will impact fuel deliveries.

The Sheep hit the Petrol Stations in their tens of thousands filing every container they can get their Hands on.

No one questions the ulterior motives behind all the MSM scare mongering. It was a deliberately orchestrated act

Everyone now blames Brexit.

The owners of all these Rag Newspapers coincidentally are all Pro-EU.

The government needs to clamp down on this. It is irresponsible and could lead to civil unrest.

Even if it is true, the dailies should not be making the situation worse deliberately causing panic buying and sensationalizing.

Fuck me, that Is some strong shit you are smoking.

Oh, and props on calling for State censorship of the media, comrade.

In fairness, the Tories wanted to stay in the EU, because they sure as hell didn’t have a plan for not being in the EU. Still don’t, unfortunately.

prepare for a scene from mad max when you get back

It’s Afghanistan. It’s not as bad as living in Afghanistan is the go to excuse for us stumbling from mini-crisis to mini-crisis.

Although, Bloomberg is now classing the UK as an ‘emerging economy‘ rather than a ‘developing economy’, which is kind of amusing...for the people of Afghanistan. To be fair, they could do with something to cheer them up.

I don't remember anyone ever promising endless Sunshine, and Milk and Honey.

I do remember talk of things getting worse before they eventually get better.

Brexit is being resisted and undermined every step of the way by people who can not handle the result of a democratic process. MSM are anything but free and independent. Deliberately trying to fuck the Country up. Just so they can say we were wrong on Brexit. So transparent.

I proudly voted for Brexit.

Eventually we will become more self sufficient. And start manufacturing stuff again. Give Kids a future.

No I don't. I fully admit Brexit has caused problems, hgv drivers, casual staff etc etc. My point is this is not a Brexit issue. If people make everything about Brexit it weakens the arguement when there is a genuine problem.
This is an issue about BP cutting costs, it back firing and a stupid lemming like reaction by the public.

Fair enough. Never said it was all Brexit btw, just that outright denying it had anything to do with it is a load of crap.

Agree this isnt the thread for that regardless.

The Left wont let it go..........

In order.

The Leave Campaign wouldn’t shut up about it. Better deal with Europe, cheaper food, cheaper goods, cheaper shoes (bizarrely) and sunlit uplands.

Never happened.

Brexit is being undermined by Brexit and an incompetent Govt. Which, to be honest, was entirely predictable.

Bless.

Fuck all to do with the left. It’s mainly businesses that are kicking back. And Fishermen. Basically, anyone with a business that is getting screwed by new trade barriers, higher costs and red tape. The irony is, what we have now would by a Tony Benn wet dream. A UK economy isolated outside the EU and relying on the UK internal market. Brexit is a 1970’s Labour reboot.

Utterly deluded fool.
We were promised cheaper gas and cheaper food immediately by the lying twat Johnson.

Corbyn was as Brexit as they come, and the clown is as culpable as Farage, Johnson, Gove and Cameron for the mess that has ensued.

I thought Brexit was a terrible idea. I still do. But there's no point in arguing about it now. It's done and we need to make the best of a bad situation. Hurling around stupid insults like 'remoaner' and 'gammon' helps nobody.
