The Impact of Foreign Owners on the EPL: HELP

Wrong. It is the Premier League.

The Scottish Premier Football League is referred to as the Premiership. Not in England!
It was re-badged ad the Premiership in its second year for quite a while. It has always legally been the FAPL which is the name they use in court.

It was called the FA Carling Premiership for a spell for sponsorship reasons until 2001.

I have never seen the term Premiership used in England since then apart from Rugby. Yes in Scotland and Northern Ireland but not in England.
