Oh God, this is hysterical. Six MPs will continue as Change UK, five will go back to the Independent Group.

It's the Judean People's Front and the People's Front of Judea for real.

Anna Soubry is the new leader apparently. Now, if you were a Labour MP disaffected with Corbyn, why would you defect to a group led by a former Tory (and Lib Dem, back in the day)?

They're hopeless.
 
Silly buggers. If they had the honesty just to call themselves the remain party they would probably have done alright in the EU elections. As it was they tried to hide behind wanting to 'change' politics whereas change was the very thing they were fighting. The public saw through it, and the sooner these opportunists are held accountable for their duplicity at the ballot box the better.
 
I said all along that they would be done by summer. There were those on here who praised this grouping as the answer to all their centre left desires in terms of a party - for me their self serving reasons behind the split from their "home" party and the fact they were from such different political backgrounds with only Brexit drawing them together ( and even then not seeming to share the exact same views over that ) doomed it from the start. The Liberal Democrat advances in recent polls effectively saw their party shot in the back of a head and dumped in a roadside ditch - politics is a brutal world and if you hitch your horse to the wrong wagon.......................
