The Labour Government

6 months in from cleaning up the shit tip the Tories left the country in.

It's become more and more apparent why Sunak called a surprise GE in July which he originally planned for November.
Strange that you use the length of time they have been out of office as justification for the fact that they did not hit the ground running when they had umpteen years to be ready. Now they have had a relaunch, sorry set milestones. I’ve seen it all before. Ultimately only a fraction of the proposals will be actioned. British govs are hopeless at action. They are already blaming the civil service. Interesting that a lot of this list was not in the manifesto nor the milestones. Judge them by their actions, not the tories who set the bar very low.

How quickly should it take to sort out a 22 billion black hole , health service on strike and walkouts , Train strikes grounding services to a halt, and Farage inspired riots - that’s just a fraction of the shit Labour had to walk into.

Only 4? after 20 weeks they've done more than the Tories achieved in the last 14 years

Oh good a list. Labour fans love a list for some bizarre reason.

Let’s see…Ban on ninja swords? They haven’t agreed the definition of a ninja sword yet - they’ve setup a consultation. Once they’ve done that they’ll get round to voting on banning them. This was kicked off before Labour got to power I believe (although they did setup the consultation on defining what a ninja sword is).

I could go through all of them and critique but it’ll be as pointless as the list itself. That said there are some good things on there and some notable omissions like freezing pensioners to death.

The £22bn black hole is a load of bollocks, we could spend that on any good day and throw it onto the national debt with everything else and that's what they're going to do. They're not addressing it at all so its existence is irrelevant.

We know this because the UK fiscal deficit is adding around £120bn to the national debt per year, not £22bn. When has this deficit been addressed? It hasn't so the £22bn is in reality just an excuse for policy failure.

Pretty sure I heard something being mentioned on breakfast telly this morning re an opinion poll that had Reform ahead of Labour.

Doesn’t suprise me at all, Labour getting blamed for absolutely anything people can think off, the media, social media with its constant anti Labour propaganda will shift the electorate to the right, the Tories are finished and with a little nidge from Musk then the lovely Farage should be next in line.
