All true that. I think we should take all of the politics and personal leanings out of it and boil it back down to what is just a personal issue, and view it from the lens it was framed by. Family, divorce, and a tragic situatiom that led to a payout of a good deal of money. All of those things are complicated, and can bring out the worst in people and sense gets forgotten in it. Death and bereavement does the same thing, clouded emotions mixed with the practical side of having to sort out affairs. Not a good mix, can bring the worst out in people. Everryone likes the idea of free money or coming out on top. There is in reality no such thing. Taking the politics out of it, this is just the same old story of someone looking to get something. Sad in many ways

Following widespread protests over asylum seekers in hotels, Defence Secretary John Healey tells Sky News that Labour is "looking really hard" at the potential use of military sites to house migrants while their asylum applications are assessed.

For those who have this as an issue this is only a partial solution. They also want those staying at these sites whether hotel or camps to be denied free access to their towns/ villages. If they are allowed free access they will continue protesting using the slogan of 'protect our children/daughters'.

It’s going really well. Everyone seems happy with all the corruption, tax dodging, u turns, gagging orders, tax increases and the incoming budgets of all budgets.
We even have a new football chant in support of starmer albeit it’s wrongly calling him a wanker.
