Glad the bookies are being targeted.
Starmer can't use the Truss budget as a point score after this major fuck up.
OBR have apologised and started an inquiry. On BBC 2 they're saying the budget has been received well by the market. Apparently up from before it was leaked. Very different to Truss' budget, more just a technical fuck up by OBR.
You're right and I take back what I said.I don’t really see the logic here.
Someone at OBR, which isn't part of the government or Starmer's responsibility at all leaks the 2025 budget, so Labour can't point out the last Tory budget destroyed the economy?
Someone has fucked up here, I don't see how it's Labour. The OBR is independent and supposed to be given the budget by the government ahead of time. Whoever leaked it has nothing to do with Labour.
I think they’re hoping the economy will grow sufficiently over the next three years to cancel some of the tax rises in 2028/9 as a pre election giveaway.Looks like the salary sacrifice thing not coming until until 2029.
Whoever leaked it, irrespective of content should be named, shamed and sacked.Budget details leaked before official announcement discussing on tv now…a total shambles
I do like the way the speaker is chastising them...How you meant to listen with all the jeers and cheers, cattle prod the lot of them the cringey wankers.

Lindsey Hoyle looking a lot fitter in the speakers chair.

More the media outrage about the leak over the substance of is so far.Huge fuck up by the OBR, I would hope that it wasn’t deliberate.
Budget doesn’t seem overly controversial, anybody see anything that screams out at them?
