I always assumed that lawyers had very sharp minds and an ability to ask the right piercing questions until Kier came along

So why has Starmer admitted that he lied to him?The appointment was a mistake, but Starmer wouldn’t have done the vetting
Really? So why has Starmer admitted that he lied to him?
YesReally?
It is.
It is.
Don't you think Starmer has been around the Party long enough to know about the stench from his Mortgage scandal. This is the problem - people listen to the Right Wing shit and believe and repeat it. Of course Starmer wouldn't have done the vetting he is running a country so when would he fit it in? Of course I am sure the poster will have used Never Hear Keir accusing him of not doing his job and they simply repeat this stuff without critical thinking - how can he not be doing his job whilst simultaneously vetting everything? As a view thats just childish.
For what its worth I think its gone past the point of no return for him. Its a shame because lots of good stuff has been done and studiously ignored by the press but his lack of political nowse and that of his advisers has been astounding. Now I feel its up to him to hold the fort until the HMRC report exonerates Rayner from any deliberate wrong doing then stepping aside working to block Streeting after all his ploytting
You need to think a little more broadly.

Cheeky cunts.
Yes, it's wrong. It's up to Labour to up their own game, not rely on help from other parties. It might not be a bright idea, but was she wrong?
(And I'm not sure I like the dishonest spin on it from "Cantona and Best"!)
I don't care about a "good look".Yes, it's wrong. It's up to Labour to up their own game, not rely on help from other parties.
Nobody (normal) wants a reform candidate getting into any office but if they do it's because the ones who have been entrusted to power in the past have dropped the ball big time.
Your refusal to see any wrong in anything Labour does isn't a great look tbh.
I feel you are dishonest with yourself when it comes to your support of this version of the Labour party, so whilst I've no doubt you don't care a jot about my opinion I no longer trust yours.I don't care about a "good look".
I meant was she wrong that the Greens can't win the seat.
Was she wrong that the Greens have misrepresented Prof Ford's views?
Did you read her letter or just the dishonest gloss by "Cantona and Best"?
