Gosh, the essential colonialist.Lots of countries do this, whats your point? Is the UK the only one not allowed too?

It's true but wrenched out of context.Where do you get your news from?
Not saying that as a gotcha, just wondering how that could be your summation and where you’ve got that from would give an indication to how many others will think the same now too.
I searched it and its literally just the daily mail, the sun, the times. All just telling their fans how the world will end in a sea of woke reforms.Where do you get your news from?

Validated by AI...I searched it and its literally just the daily mail, the sun, the times. All just telling their fans how the world will end in a sea of woke reforms.
It's a nothing story with enough triggers to be used for political leverage. Both sides do it, I'm so fed up with it tbh.
I do believe the Internet is destroying truth. We're all going to end up living a lie.
Imagine the UK owning islands thousands of miles from the UK.
Saving them for the leadership elections...Have they made up any more fake tactical voting sites today?
Thames water demanded £4,billion, not for infrastructure, but to meet the performance related bonuses of the board-members.....FFSIn truth, the water companies are private businesses sold off to the highest bidder who are there to make money from me and you. OFWAT is also an independent business, paid for by companies who pass that charge over to its customers. They don’t answer to the government of the time, but they do have to answer to parliament as they are governed by legislation.
We have no real say in what they do apart from Parliament enforcing sanctions, when needed.
One of my biggest gripes, obviously apart from being sold off in the first place, is that the contracts put in place when they were sold off make it near impossible to bring them back into public ownership as they can be just sold off to the next investor and the only way to take them back is if the company hands them back to the government.
Probably want to look back at Thatcher who also gave them subsidies to sweeten the deal. Since then, they’ve done fuck all for their customers, or environment, and now need to up their prices to fix almost 40 years of neglect while taking their dividends.
It revealed everything about him and the party he wants to lead. Not sure Starmer should be using some of that language to describe others on the left, particularly when many of their own supporters share those same views.
'Laser-focused', though...
It revealed everything about the people behind him who are writing such nonsense. It’s un-believable and, to my ears, sounds un-believed when he says it. He’s trying to lead a broad church, which is a difficult task, but such language is unhelpful and will only lead to a schism. Badly advised. It revealed everything about him and the party he wants to lead.
The greens aren't far left.
They are close to Lib Dems on some of their policies. They are traditionally anti trade unions.Although that is softening.
It's a **** trick worth of Farage to misconstrue their drugs policy.

Any Labour MP elected could have said much the same (but as an MP of the ruling party might actually have more influence). To save time, I'll put that "might" in italics (if the button worked!).If Labour can't listen to the first couple of minutes or so of Spencer's victory speech last night and work out from that where they are going wrong then there really is no hope for them.

Too far out to make that claimStarmers response today was to come out and say 'we must fight against political extremes', he is doubling down on the strategy of 'Greens and Reform are essentially the same', Labour are going to get decimated at the election.
The cabinet will learn nothing, i think its important to differentiate between those in charge and a lot of the back benches and members. If Labour can't listen to the first couple of minutes or so of Spencer's victory speech last night and work out from that where they are going wrong then there really is no hope for them.
