On average there are 41 knife crimes and stabbings in London PER DAY. It would seem that whilst bad for those involved, the carnival doesn't significantly, if at all, increase the normal numbers.

Exactly so, somebody should explain that to GDM and the rest of the Starmer apologists. His betrayal of pensioners' living standards in the interests of the big unions is unforgiveable. It's precisely that powerless group who will be paying for their instant public sector wage hikes - a rich reward for sabotaging the health service on which the elderly population relies most.

You mean because of the lack of pay rises and real term cuts, the strikes that cost more than the pay rise would’ve done or the billions that could’ve been spent on the nhs but was wasted on PPE that was t fit for purpose in Covid, ye but that poor nurse going to the food bank is to blame!
