I seem to remember reading that none of Thatcher's governments actually obtained a majority of the electoral vote, even the landslide ones.

Are the right wing media trying to downplay this election win? I mean its a landslide isn't it? Yet I keep hearing how this isn't even a big as Camerons win, or Blair win.

How big a win was this exactly? I'm fed up of hearing spin on the numbers trying to prove something else.
