The Labour Government

It's ours, we're giving it away to a country that has never had a claim to it, oh and we're also paying them £30 billion, so I'd say no it's not a good deal. The mind boggles why we are doing this.
Maybe you should read up on why we have little choice rather than letting your mind boggle.

Fourteen years compared to ten months but it’s all the fault of the labour government
We can all blame previous governments. Outwith of global influence, the economic shit-show of New Labour created the foundations of the current situation the UK finds itself. The Blair/Brown buy now; pay later PFI disaster essentially kicked the can down the road a few years, and now we're paying for it big time.

Huge SDR published today and what I can see on here is, well, nothing.

Good or bad thing?

Sorry for being a distraction to the distraction.

Only decisions they've made whilst in charge or should the thread be closed for the next 13 years:-)
Certainly not , but give them a chance and if they fuck it up I’ll be front of the queue. But the way the media have swept away the fucking disaster of Johnson and Truss is unbelievable.

I find it concerning so many people are seemingly believing the right wing commentators narrative on this without doing even the remotest bit of research themselves.

Like any job, you can only keep blaming your predecessors for so long, after a while the excuse starts wearing a bit thin.

We only have the headlines with little detail so not sure a fair assessment can be made just yet
I think most of the detail has been in the public domain for a couple of days now. Seems people would rather debate where we have been, rather than where we’re going.

You are exactly right, and we’re getting to the point where they need to stop harping back to just under a year ago and concentrate on their communication of the future.

There is so much difference with what we’ve seen over many years and if you critique what many in the media want you to think, you can clearly see that this administration is actually governing the country, making decisions on the direction of the country.

What I’ve realised over the years is that the better a government does, the harder the media pushes back. And they’re really pushing hard to discredit anything this government does. That says to me that what they’re doing is good for country, but I’ll wait-out and see if these policies turn into the betterment of those that it serves.
