Agree about Rayner and Streeting but there doesn't seem to be many options - Burnham probably the best but as he's been blocked from standing in the by election that's him out of the frame. Well for the foreseeable anyway

The fact that there is a labour left and labour right is part of the problem. Always bickering amongst themselves on certain topics even though they agree on the majority of things.

The current problems have nothing to do with the Labour left, if they still exist at all. This is all on the 'adults' we were told were back in charge.

Was commenting that labour ministers have come out asking for the resignation and opening up all the same factions.
 
I hope Rayner gets it. I don't think they let her keep it though, she wants to do stuff for the less fortunate in society. Business's leaders and media moguls don't like a leader of people, they could lead the people to question the rich and powerful.

Peoples reaction to the possibility of her becoming leader exposes that game you mention.

The Epstein files are being skewered to concentrate on the dead nonce more than the emails of very rich and influential people playing gods with our lives and trying to steal more of our money for their own greed and power bases.
 
The anonymous briefings show the parasympathetic relation of political journalism with politicians.

The leaks are for the advantage of the leaker and the ego of being "first to know" in the Westminster Journo bubble.

All these fuckers on all sides playing their political games with no thought for the people they represent and in some cases pay their wages.
