I just don’t agree with the law being broken. Nothing to do with culture. May have been ok in the 1970s certainly not now. I worked in the DWP for nearly a decade and never came across it once.
Ha ha haNot quite correct.... the UK does not recognise polygamous marriages . Any 'second' wife would have to claim UC as an individual . This has always been the case.
It only applies to Pension Credit or Housing Benefit I believe and only under a very unusual set of circumstances.
