Haven't heard Lisa Nandy speak anywhere for a long, long time. On Kuennesberg this morning, she was really impressive. No histrionics, question dodging or waffle. Very grounded politician.
Without money nothing changes so, as we have been told by so many politicians, growth is the key. However getting growth is pretty much a successful businessman's forte not a politician's. Therein lies the problem for every single political party, high on platitudes (Imagine there's no heaven....) but lacking in practical skills to generate the hard cash to make those platitudes happen.
Not great figures but still better.
