Correct when it happened to me I never had any intention of running onto the actual field of play I was just pissed and passionate after getting the equaliser and ran down to celebrate . Passion takes over sometimes, part of football just like a player getting a 2nd yellow for running into the crowd after scoring.

Caution and 3 year ban if it happens again. Fair enough i'd say never on the actual grass with no intention to harm. Had a few beers and the 1st gate was wide open never had any intention of climbing the 2nd barrier. Plus when your pissed you dont have a clue what they regard as the pitch and not when the floor isn't green lol

you cant even celebrate a goal nowadays so getting on a pitch is a no no, always think a telling off and a short ban is the answer just to prevent others doing it, 3 years would be draconian

Bellamy had been sent off thank fuck. And didn't get close enough to him really. Spoke to Kolo Toure though as he was leaving the Reebok and he speaks english ;)

A warning and maybe even a small fine is enough to stop it happening again, then if the lesson isn't learnt and it happens again then a ban's the only option.
