The last three league games

Can't stand it when people compare last seasons results, it's totally different.
I do agree with that though. The other team's form, our form, the time of year, the time of day, the weather conditions, the referee, injuries, suspensions... are all different for every corresponding game every season.

There will be games we won last season that we don't this - like Arsenal - too.
I agree that there are so many things that can affect the result but the comparison of results is relevant over a number of games especially if other clubs, like us, suffer regularly at certain grounds. If it was totally different each year why do we still struggle to win at Liverpool, Stoke, Everton, WBA (1 in 5 till yesterday), these are teams we are capable of beating and should beat.

Getting better by the week IMO culminating in yesterday's result. Like another poster says we could do with Chelsea dropping a few points....starting the week after next.

Studying the fixtures to try and get to a couple of City's matches before xmas.

We will have a better idea by Christmas how well we are doing. Some people saying it is useless comparing us to last season. Well we won the title. If we can get more points than we did on a championship winning season then we are giving ourselves a very good chance of retaining it.

I predict something like W26 D6 L6 will win the title this season. I think the top teams will take a more shared amount of points off each other.

So less points will win it this year you reckon? I think Chelsea have really raised themselves and I can see them pushing the points up this season. It will be interesting to see how the match next week pans out for them. We will see how good they are and if they are serious title challengers, the same goes to united.

Last season we picked up 3 points in the very same games. Fulham away 2-2, Sunderland home 3-3 and west brom away 0-0.

We were worried we didn't look right about a month ago but today's performance was fantastic as was the win against Sunderland. We have an additional 6 points than we did last season. Something we can be very positive about.

a month ago we wern'rt right. mancini picked the wrong players. now he has woke up we are flying again.

To be fair to the manager, he was giving the new players a chance to shine. Perhaps those higher up at the club will listen to him in future eh?

This .

plus there were some injuries (overall barry and milner) if i recall right , so he was forced to play the newbyes

plus Mancini probably resigned himself to the fact that yaya seems no longer wants to work in defense

lets hope so, to waste that window, of all windows, was criminal.

Hate to say it. But the best result foir us next weekend is a draw between Chelsea and the rags. On paper we have a fairly easy run of games, need close to maximum points before the tougher fixtures.
