Just watched Leicester/Palace from last weekend Leicester are such an effective team.

Kante pressing the opposition into submission with Drinkwater controlling the game from behind is a great midfield two. Easily the best centre midfield two in the league. I can't believe how good Drinkwater's passing is, it was excellent during this game. Long, short, left foot, right foot. The build-up to their goal came almost entirely from Drinkwater; playing one-twos with the defenders, then plays a great 30 yard pass (brilliant vision) into Albrighton which leads to a cross. Once the cross is cleared, Drinkwater is there to instantly play it straight into Vardy's feet out wide and the goal comes from there. I love seeing that - the midfielder giving it to an attacker in a dangerous position really early. Seriously impressive play from Drinkwater.

No nonsense centre backs too. Morgan and Huth just defend correctly, nothing fancy, nothing glamorous, just defending. Otamendi and Mangala should be made to watch these two all week.

Vardy and Okazaki are such a handful. Okazaki's workrate is incredible, him and Kante are easily the two hardest workers in the league. Okazaki presses the centre backs intensely, then drops back into midfield making it a 4-4-1-1. He does this all game, so impressive to watch. Watch Bony lumber about up front for us then watch Okazaki put absolutely everything into every game. It's night and day really.

The most impressive thing about Leicester is that they're not a team of individuals, they're a team and the team comes first. Everything they do is for the benefit of the team. We could learn a hell of a lot from them. Well deserved winners of the league this season.
Been banging on and on about this for months. Drinkwater is theCM vision. His passing is top notch..

I have just witnessed the most blatant handball and sending off not given in the Leicester v Saints game - totally and utterly dismissed by the commentary team. They must think the general public are complete imbeciles. The agenda from the premier league is clear - Leicester to win the league...

that was so blatant i turned it off and i am now watching Milan...
but I personally don't think that the powers that be are sitting somewhere plotting how to get Leicester to win the league... what i see however is that every one in the English media wishes for Leicester to win and that plays in the opposing manager (I listened to Pullis for example on 5Live wishing so) and that plays on the referees sympathies as well...how many times has Morgan thrown himself at a shot on target and have the ball hit his hand... they are living the whole Cinderella story... but boy are they mediocre compared to all the other major league champions to be...

How do they keep up this consistency!? nearly every weekend especially recently has been greeted with "Leicester's weekend they will be happy" it is getting boring ! surely they are due a bad weekend where the other teams all win and they lose!?

how do they do it!? there is no sign of them dropping off.. are they now going to be a top 4 team regular or will they get their best players poached? they are a obviously a world class group if they keep this consistency ! so surprised their best players won't get poached like "magic" Mahrez and "fox in the box" Vardy.

Kante needs to play regular CL football too he reminds me of a young Yaya.

Just puzzled how they've managed to go from a relegation fodder team to winning every weekend. Even under pressure of a Premier League run in !!

Doubt they will become a top 4 regular. They are a limited team that play to a set plan that's working for them at the moment. They may well win it this season but I can't see them being top 4 next year. There again I wouldn't have said they would be this year.

Be surprised if they wasn't in a relegation fight next season.

Overall this season has just been embarrassing for English football.

One to forget.

I agree. Weak as piss league. Every team rolling over, no spirit, no fight.. I actually suspect many teams and managers secretely want Leicester to win so are not trying their best against them.. England loves a good old romantic football story.

Sad really, and like you said embarrassing. To allow a team fighting relegation the previous season to win the league the following season is a joke and the top teams need to have a word with themselves.

I respect what Leicester have done for winning the league but it has to be balanced with how poor the overall league has become too (people already using superlatives like greatest football achievement ever need to calm the feck down). No top stars, mediocre players, top real top teams.. this summer needs a lot of investment in the league otherwise we will slip behind in Europe. As proven by our teams not getting into the semi finals or finals of the Champion's League anymore and almost losing our 4th place CL spot hanging on by a thread.
