First album was OK but Pete Dougherty isn't the tortured genius he and his fans think he is though. Seen 'em a few times at festivals and that and they can put on a show to be fare. There's just alot better out there.

a lad i know used to slag them constantly because he didn't like doherty. i went round to his for a drink and slipped a few libertines tracks onto a compilation. he asked who they were as he really liked them.

Yeah like I say thought the first album was decent. Used to request Horror Show at 42s all the time, back in my sixth form days. Saw 'em at the academy and to be honest it jam packed with nobheads wearing guy liner and those red army coat jacket things. Was like a the Rocky Horror show for C**ts.

the only reason i didn't use those exact two videos was because i like to go for an alternative option. either st.jude's or a cribs cd is always in my car. well, until i got beady eye last week.
