Thats what a track record is all about. No manager is perfect, but Hiddink and Mourinho have achieved consistently in many roles.

Mancini has been out of work for a year since being sacked, another point to think about; why wasn't he snapped up before us?

Could you see either of the other two managers being out of work for so long?

His contract wrangle with Inter means he couldnt be employed until about 6 weeks ago. Get with the program. BUT I ASK AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!! Hiddink had a european success years ago, steadied a team of premiership winning internationals at chelsea and failed to qualify russia for the world cup. Why are you so fond of him?? ANSWER PLEASE

but like i've just said, Mancini doesn't have a proven track record of winning the league in a number of countries, or winning the PL with another English club, or turning mid table teams into title contending sides.

You have seen the last 3000 manager we've had haven't you? Glad you're not on the interview panel. Wenger would never have been at Arse, Fergie at the rags etc etc ;-)

he won trophies with average teams in serie A with normal financial backing, he will now be in charge of (currently) a europa league worthy team which also has a brilliant academy and is the richest team in the world!!!

Inter have won the title four years on the trot, with two differnet managers and the help of matchfixing, team reelgation and points deduction. If, in your opinion, thats enough evidence to warrent the job here, thats fair enough... i'm not totally convinced but thats your opinion and its more than understandable.

The other trophies were basically Italian FA cups, so i'd argue thats hardly the foundations and proven quality to manage us to the league title and CL football...

The last line i can't argue with, but if you "think" he can do more, it means he probably hasn't already satisfied our criteria by performing similar or better feats in the past.

He's been in dispute with Inter over the terms if his contract termination, it was only settled at the end of October.
