My Wife is trying to do her bit, fair play to her. I told her that the roads were very icy, and there was no chance of me getting to work, so ahe asked me tonot go to work, and take her up the Gritter instead!! She must be planning to drive it her self!!

It's still snowing in Didsbury, there is inches of it on the ground, the round is what I would call virtually unusable, everything's just white, no schools are open, it's amazing.
The Picadilly to Manchester Airport train is still running, I can verify that as I can see the railway line :)

Tried clearing the snow at GMP sports club this morning, they shut the club as not all staff could come in and all the conference people couldn't make it in.
The Mounted and Dogs section were all working fine, as were the armed coppers so don't you cwimminuls think you can get away with it!
Was shovelling snow at 6am, now time to go back to bed!
