The Mancini has played an absolute blinder thread.

Hes never swayed from what he believes is the best way for this club to achieve success. No amount of press, supporters, "football experts" telling him he is clueless has taken him away from what he knows is right. Shows great strength of character to do that.

Hi Rasc, good to see you back on here. ;)

Hi Rasc, good to see you back on here. ;)

Nice to see you pal and what you say is totally correct.

He also shown good grace, a sense of humour and a touch of humility at times, im sure he will go from strength to strength because the players believe in him.

His single mindlessness took our club and the players to a cup win, champions league position and ingrained his mentality into the players! One of our best managers ever!

Completely agree.
He has had to contend with a very hostile press campaign from the outset, adapting to a different style of football as well as learning the lingo.
On top of that there has been the small matter of weeding out the chaff (top marks here!), identifying the good players he inherited and adding quality and depth to the squad.
IMO the team's achievements this season has been little short of miraculous.
An awful lot of credit must go to RM.
Yes there have been a few disappointing performances and people have jumped on him for it. He has maintained a calm and dignity throughout which has been admirable.

Well done signor Mancini..roll on next season.
Can't bloody wait.

Well done, Roberto!

Something that the OP didn't mention, though it comes under the general heading of media sniping, and that was all the comments about him not being able to manage and control all the 'egos and personalities' in the squad and mould them into a winning group.

Well, I think that has been proved, from the training ground pictures and the goal celebrations, especially in the two matches at Wembly, to be completely untrue.

This is obviously a very happy and settled squad, and it wouldn't have achieved the results and perrmances that it has this season if that were not the case.

He's dealt with all the big ego's at the club and there is no doubt among the players that he is the boss - he deserves credit for that because it can't have been an easy job.

I agree.
Mancini is already a City Legend. He's done what he was asked to do with Flying Colours.
Ok. Some games early on it was a bit Negative. But now you see why. He had a target and is a Quality manager to see when we Could not Lose.
Plus its not his team. Yet.
But when we go for it we look superb.
What i love about him is when all the players where Supposedly against him he stood firm. Most managers would have crumbled.
Loved it when Tevez came off giving him some and he just shoved him off to the bench.
The guys a LEGEND
